Founded as a partnership by Stephen and Elizabeth, Elstar Computing is a Brisbane-based IT consultancy and server management provider located in Corinda, Queensland. We specialize in providing business-grade cloud hosting on Amazon Web Services (AWS), software licensing management for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and robust computer hardware solutions.
Unlike modern, automated helpdesks where you speak to a different technician every time, Elstar Computing offers direct access to deep technical expertise built over decades in the computing industry.
Backed by a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree, ensuring fundamental hardware, networking, and core systems knowledge.
Continuous computer support experience since 1975, covering server administration, programming, and cloud infrastructure.
A family business operated with direct accountability, clear communication, and personalized service for every client.
Stephen began working in the computer support field in 1975. Over the last five decades, technology has undergone vast transformations—from mainframes and early local servers to today's global cloud architectures. Through every era, Stephen has stayed at the forefront of the industry, delivering server administration, software development, web hosting, and cloud systems engineering.
Today, we bring that wealth of experience to small and medium enterprises. We focus on cutting through complex technical jargon to deliver practical, secure, and cost-effective IT infrastructure—whether that means managing high-uptime AWS server deployments, provisioning Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, or configuring business PCs and laptops.
